Hello there!! I'm not a newby, but I'm definitely a stranger. I worked so much overtime, like a bunch of 12 and 16 hour days along with some 8 hour days for 29 days in a row with one day off, then start the 29 day routine again for the past few years I worked. Just not enough time to visit many online places. I'm happily retired now and I'm catching up on yard work, house work , family ties and garden junking. I made another terra cotta pot man this year and remarbled an old bowling ball who had lost most of its marbles.  . It feels so good to have time to do some fun things and it feels good to be back here too.
Don't worry about the bone, give the dog a home.

It's been ages since I've visited Garden Junk. I just received a message from David reminding me I still have old friends here. I've been spending most of my time starting up a photography business so junking has been put a little further down the list. I'll have to find the photo section and get caught up. ~ Ruth

I didnt post much there, but I often perused the albums, always looking for new ideas.

I wish it was busier. I came to the other place way back when Martina started it, but worked so much overtime that I could rarely post. I'm retired now and have time, but there doesn't seem to be anyone here to talk to. I have some photos of some stuff I made this summer, but don't know how to post pictures.

Hi Linda, There are two ways for you to post your photos. You can click on options, then file/update and that will take you to your computer where you can download them. You must write something in the compose section first or they will not download. The other way is to use html links from a site like Flickr or Photobucket. and just post the html link into the compose box. I do hope you will post what you've made. well,my name is maricee. Had this aka name since high school and is also my Appalacian Trial name. I'm faily new to junking and gardening so I trying to combine the two to make my hilly yard a little more cheerful.Hope to learn a thing or two and perhaps share any wisdom I've cultivated over the years from gardending in the New England area. Thanks in advance for such a great site!!
