Just heard from Bella. Donald is now home. Here are her very own words...
Hi All, Well we finally got him out of the
hospital yesterday and drove home (4 hrs +) and he is home at his own place as
he just wanted some peace and quiet and to be able to sleep - what a terrible
time he has had once again at death's door and lucky to be here - he ended up in
the Infectious Diseases Ward in isolation with 3 bugs in his stomach and one in
his blood and on 5 antibiotics + a day - a pict line in for the iv ones and the
other two orally and has to stay on oral ones for a month and goes back to get
the new stent (which they replaced once again three weeks ago) out and hopefully
nothing goes wrong this time. Thank you one and all for all the thoughts
and prayers for Don and ourselves during the last 5 months - wouldn't wish any
of this on my worst enemy hmmmmmmmmmmmm maybe could think of just a couple lol
lol - take care and am having now to go thru 200 + emails and boy the delete
button is getting a workout - once again THANK YOU - love Isabel (Bella)
PS Was so great to be back in our own bed once
again didn't think it was so great before but boy oh boy it is wonderful
