    This is my first attempt at a mosaic bb... I am pleased with it..and am working on a birdhouse...

    The height on this bowling ball stand is wonderful, can you tell us the story behind the stand?

    That stand is an old lamp that I took the guts out of and have hauled it around for alot of years knowing that it would have a new life sometime...glad you like it..did I tell you I love cobalt blue? Probably didn't need to tell you... hehehe

    hi dottie, just saw your beautiful bowling ball mosiac design, and was wondering what you used to make it.  is it glass pieces of blue and clear, and did you grout it with white grout?  thanks for sharing.

    Hi Dragonfly...The mosaic ball is a bowling ball, glass mirror tiles. I get them from  http://shop.mosaicsbymaria.com/  I think they are cobalt blue and silver mirror tiles. I use GE Silicone 2 for windows and doors in the small tubes. The grout is charcoal sanded grout.     hi dottie, thanks for the information.  i had checked at hobby lobby for tiles, and it would have been too expensive to buy those little bags of tiles to complete a project.  i will check you out on facebook.  thanks again.  drangonfly.

    thanks dottie, i am not great with using the computer, and sometimes things just don't click for me when i am attempting to find a site.  but, i was able to find both today, so much appreciation for the help.  also, check out my discussion on spiders, maybe you will find the info useful.   have a great day, dragonfly.
