This bad-mouthing has to stop. There is no off board consensus. Dottie and I manage the site and we have moved it to .org. I hope and pray that most of our members here start posting there.
As for off the board (via private email) consensus, I am quite sure that the "consensus" is moving over to the .org site. I am sure because of the emails to me. Our #1 guideline around here is to be kind. Period. Anyone wanting to go elsewhere or start their own site is free to do so, but this is not a democracy where everyone has a vote. It does not work that way with gardenjunk. We invite loving, kind, prayful folks (mostly ol' biddies and Ron , lol) to be part of the group. However, this is a volunteer labor of love from us and the criticism (as I've stated before) is unwanted and exhausting. We are doing our best.
I would guess that the more we use it, the better it will become. If you look at the oldest messages here at MSN you will see similar kevetching.
So, only kindness is wanted here. If you have the knowhow for a perfect website then by all means start one. Dottie and I will be the first to join!
