Garden Junk                  

You old biddies are the bestest friends! I know I've been away forever, but you are never far from my thoughts. When our house burned down I was astonished at the response from this group.  (tears were shed)   Thank you so much for the out-pouring of notes, gifts and especially prayers.  Tommy and I are doing really well.  We are in a new rental house nearer to our land we are developing.  We have beds to sleep on and chairs to sit in. We even have wifi! lol!   As you may know, my beloved chickens all died in the fire.  Last month I bought 4 chicks.  They just graduated from the guest room bathtub to the outdoors. The rental has a sweet enclosed area but I was afraid some big animal would leap the four foot high fencing.  So I took my birdhouses (theywere outside and did not burn in our fire) and screwed them into wood I placed across the top of the fencing.  Its the Marty version of barbed wire! lol!    love, hugs, and kisses,   Marty

Marty... so great to see you here...is there a top on the enclosed area? If not I would still be afraid of predators...I had a mean bluejay attack a little chick, it almost died, but my hero Bill brought it back to life...love your birdhouses...also, racoons are meanies...love Dotts...
