Here are a some pics of our Humboldt fire. We have been sitting tight waiting for evacuation notice... and trying to decide if we should just leave or not..have 5th wheel ready to roll if we need to... today it is 35% contained and they hope to have it 100% by Mon. 52 homes have been destroyed, so much devastation here. 36 square miles burned... it is all below us. Thankfully the wind has been blowing away from us and the wind is dying down... so that is helping with the effort to put it out.
We think we will be ok now that the winds have died down...there are evacuation centers in Paradise and Chico. We just feel so sad for all of those who lost their homes...take care... hugs, Dottie
