Instructions for several interesting projects (translated into English)

On a MSN Garden Junk post I had asked for help in getting a translation for several projects that were posted in Thai that I found while
surfing the net. A Garden Junk member by the name of Sweetpea was able to have them translated for us. The original link with photos is http://www.formumandme.com/article.php?a=788

I am unable to attach the Word file on the old site, plus I figured since we are moving here this is the place to post it.
It's nice to be able to attach a Word file on this forum, more user friendly!
Dottie if you want the instructions in Documents feel free to move them and hopefully add the photos for each project.
    Thank you Sweetpea!

    Somewhere Over the Trio

If you cannot come up with a gift idea for a special occasion, a plant will make a unique gift. A plant represents liveliness and prosperity. The idea of transforming the look of a simple plant into a gift is a gift like no others.

    Materials

                3 small clay pots

A sturdy steel wire that is able to bend or manipulated

Ornament or decorations, which can be either wooden or ceramic

3 small plants such as cactus

    Directions

Use the steel wires and wrap them around each clay pot.  After this, use another steel wire to tie the clay pots together forming a small handle shape at the top. Next place the plant into the clay pots and place the decorations anywhere. It is up to you on how you want to decorate them to make this gift unique.

    Fire Tree

Anyone who likes flowers will definitely like a fire tree. It is similar to a flower arrangement where you combine different kind of flowers all together.

    Materials

Small and large wires that are sturdy

Pliers, side cutter, or wide cutter (up to you on what you want to use)

                Small glass

                Candle

                Vase

                Fern or plant stem/stick

                Glass rock or marbles

    Directions

    1. Shape one end of the wire into a “U-shape”. It is up to you on how many you plant to make.
    2. Wrap the small wires around each small glass. Make the same amount as the “U-shape” ones.
    3. Place the candle inside each small glass.
    4. Place glass rocks or marbles into the vase and place everything else after that.
    5. Also add water because you will have live plants.
    6. Arrange it to how you desire it to look like.
    7. Light the candles.

    Fire Fly

    Materials

                Fish net wire

                Spray paint of any color

                Small teacup

                Candles

                Study small steel wire

                Scissors to cut the wires

                Pliers

    Directions

    1. Cut the fish net wire into a rectangular shape.
    2. Roll the fish net wire to compromise the shape of the small teacup.
    3. Use the pliers to adjust the wire into a trapezoid shape.
    4. Use the small wire to wrap  around the bottom end of the trapezoid and at the opposing end wrap another wire around it and form a loop at the top, so it can be hanged.
    5. Spray paint the wire.
    6. Using the scissors, cut in the middle of the fish net wire. Cut enough so that you can place the small glass in there.
    7. Place the candle into the small glass.
    8. Light the candles.
