    Happy Holidays!!!

Hi everybody!!  It's been FOREVER since I've been on here!!  Life has just been too busy!  Both my sons are in high school; I had a whirlwind courtship and got married the end of August to a wonderful man.  Haven't been doing too much Garden Junk stuff....we did build a cover for our back porch this summer and I did make a few glass block decorations for Christmas.  Have spent a lot of my time traveling when I'm not working.....San Francisco, Leavenworth, Seattle, Meford, the Columbia Gorge, Portland, Vancouver.............just all over in the last few months!

Hi to Ron the Metal Guy, who I do run into every now and then!!!  I'll try to get back on here more often because you are all so very friendly and creative!!!!  I do write a blog if you want to read it......http://view-from-my-porch.blogspot.com/.  Just started it this year and it keeps me pretty busy.  Hope you find it entertaining!!!

Have a very Merry Christmas!!! Big Smile

    Re: Happy Holidays!!!

    hi dottie,

we had the temp drop down to 16 degrees night before last and took out the blooms on my encores.we are in low 20's tonight.this is not normal temps here in the southeast where i live.i have been seeing these little black trees for about three years now in walmart.they had several other colors but i really liked the black.i was at walmart about a week after thanksgiving and saw the christmas trees and decided to go ahead and buy the black one if i seen it.i was not waiting for them to go on sale this year.i found two but were both six foot trees.the ones i saw before were about three foot tall but i did not see any of the small ones so i bought the six foot and after i got it up i was glad i bought the six foot.i am going to try to get a small red one and a small white one next year to decorate for the porch.i am sorry i have not got back to post sooner but things have been very busy around here.my daughter was in a bad accident last tuesday night and i have a rabbit with a broke leg.have a goodnight.
